MacBook Repair

MacBook Repairs in Brisbane

Did you know that many repairs for MacBooks are affordable and easy to do? Our Brisbane based technicians can help you assess your MacBook issues, potential costs of service, and provide the repairs to fix your MacBook.

Apple will commonly recommend you buy a new product should your MacBook encounter any issues that warrant repair. Often repair costs are too high or repair is deemed unviable, and this leads many people to discard devices that could be saved.

While it may be common practice for Apple to lead you away from 3rd party technicians, repairs from a trusted technician are often affordable and easy to do, depending on the issue and age of the device.

What is our repair process?

Repairs to MacBook’s depend on the issue with the device and the ways that you and your technician decide to proceed with a repair. We are happy to discuss these issues with you and provide a free quote, and we review a few common cases below –

Flickering Screens on MacBooks

If a MacBook screen starts to flicker, it will generally need to be replaced. Repair may still be possible if the cable that connects the screen to the motherboard has become slightly dislodged, so our technicians will assess all connections and provide with you an assessment. This will let you know if you need a replacement part or just a quick fix.

Sticky MacBook Keys

When the keys on a MacBook no longer work or the caps come off, the keyboard will need replacing. Their design makes replacement a difficult process and Apple has made it a longer process by adding in a lot of screws. With newer model MacBook’s it can take between 3-5 hours to replace the keyboard. The screws have been made harder to reach and added more components to keep them in place. The only alternative to this is to replace the whole top case which is expensive.
